Forbes had recently worked with market research company Statista to identify a list of companies most liked by those entering the workforce for the first time. According to Forbes.com, the list was compiled by surveying 20,000 Americans with less than 10 years professional experience working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. Fidelity is honored to be named to the list of Best Places to Work For New Graduates!
Hear what a few of our associates have to say about working at Fidelity as a recent graduate:
“Fidelity is a great place to work for new graduates because of all the unique services Fidelity has to offer. Fidelity is such a large company that new graduates with diverse backgrounds can find an area they’re interested in. The positive work environment also makes Fidelity a great place to work. The teams I’ve been on have had extremely friendly and motivated individuals that result in a great company culture. Everyone is very welcoming and is always willing to talk about anything.” – #FidelityAssociate Ben B.
“From the beginning, it became clear to me that even though the job will be demanding at times, success is attainable. In part, this is due to the fact that there is a great sense of collaboration. Being vulnerable and admitting that one needs help is encouraged. This positive work environment makes it very easy for many new grads to feel good about asking for help and admitting where there is room for growth. As someone who is very new to the corporate world and who lacked a real understanding of the financial services industry, I can say with full confidence that I truly believe that I can be successful at Fidelity because I have a team I can count on and that has made me feel competent.” – #FidelityAssociate Uriel L.
“Fidelity is great place for new grads because a huge emphasis is placed on associate development, which gives recent grads the chance to try new things and stretch themselves. As a new grad, I was pleasantly surprised by how open leaders are to meeting with younger associates, not just to coach them, but also to get their perspectives on big initiatives. I have felt like my opinion and ideas are truly valued here.” – #FidelityAssociate Casey H.
“After my senior year turned virtual, I was starting to get both nervous and anxious about starting a new job or that my job offer would be rescinded. Once I started work, however, I was pleasantly surprised, and impressed, with how well Fidelity and my manager integrated my coworkers and myself into the virtual environment. Despite some expected technological hiccups, the process as a whole has been great. Who knew you could get to know your coworkers and the overall Fidelity work environment so well through Zoom background icebreakers, webinars, and other virtual activities like tours of the art collection?!” – #FidelityAssociate Meira C.
