When I reflect on my experience starting as a Fidelity Investments intern and growing my career here, I have three words to describe it: growth, opportunity, and joy.
I graduated in May 2022 from the University of North Texas with a degree in Marketing with a concentration in professional selling. In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to work as a sales intern. My experience was so magnificent that I knew I wanted to further my career with Fidelity Investments. I am currently on the Fidelity Institutional Client Experience team, and my time in this role has been full of growth and opportunity! I come from European parents who came to the United States as refugees from the war in Kosovo, and my parents’ strive for growth and leadership has shaped me into the individual I am today. Growth is important to me, and I am growing and learning each day at Fidelity. I believe that if you are not learning, then you are not living! Each day when you wake up, you should strive to be a better version of yourself from the day before, and Fidelity has taught me several ways to achieve this goal every day.
Coming to Fidelity, the first thing that caught my eye was the culture and mentorship. I have met with over fifty associates, and whether it was an entry-level associate or a senior vice president, everyone is eager to answer your questions, give feedback, and help shape you into the best version of yourself. Since I started at Fidelity, the opportunities have been endless, and every associate is passionate! My managers have been wonderful, and I am so grateful to be surrounded by amazing talent and strong leaders.
I was so eager and excited to start my role after college, and I was completely blown away by the support and training Fidelity offers you. I was provided with various resources, and no matter your questions, there was always an associate there to help. The trainers were amazing, and I can confidently say I received the best training, and the best part is that it keeps going!
When I walk into the doors of Fidelity, I feel passion and joy. There are smiling faces and strong leaders everywhere who want to learn more about you and help you excel. Whether you are joining different organizations at Fidelity or meeting new people in the office, there is always a place for you to learn and grow. I am proud to be a Fidelity associate, and since earning my degree and starting my role at Fidelity Investments, I am confident, full of passion, and ready for the future!
